Silent Night / UnHoly Night

Silent entertainment by www.SilentDiscoUK.com and hidden happenings for saints and sinners at this underground wonderland close to Waterloo. As well as a host of cabaret performers giving Christmas an ethereal twist, there's a boating lake and an indoor alpine forest in which to frolic around. Plus there's a feast of musical choices thanks to guest DJs spinning via the medium of silent disco. Grab some headphones and flick between two channels of musical excellence, or follow a passing performer into the woods. If live music's your thing though, gypsy-jazzers Franky and the Jacks will be there to help you shake your bits too. Presented by Time Out Live, 33 Events and SilentDiscoUK

Silent Disco UK provide 520 Radio Headsets to the production of CORIOLANUS for the National Theatre of Wales in association with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Commissioned for the World Shakespeare Festival, which is produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company for London 2012 Festival.

Audiences of around 350 for each performance will be issued with radio headsets for the promenade-style performance. They will be able to choose whether they want to watch the live action unfolding before them or keep informed via giant video screens.

Pearson says that everyone will have a different experience of the production but they will be able to keep abreast of all of the action unfolding in the different areas of the hangar.

"Because of the radio headsets, even if the action is taking place away from you, you can hear it."
